Memorize the Quran (Hifz)

حفظ القرآن الكريم

Memorise the entire Quran with a structured Hifz program — daily revision, retention techniques, and certified Huffaz as teachers.

Memorize the Quran (Hifz)

Memorising the Quran is one of the greatest achievements a Muslim can pursue. This structured Hifz program guides you from your first verses to full memorisation, with daily revision schedules, proven retention techniques, and the personal attention of a certified Hafiz or Hafiza.

What You Will Learn

  • Systematic memorisation of the Quran, verse by verse
  • Daily revision (muraja'ah) schedules tailored to your capacity
  • Retention techniques — repetition patterns, spaced recall, and linking methods
  • Maintaining previously memorised portions while learning new ones
  • Proper recitation of memorised verses with Tajweed

Who Is This Course For?

Students aged 7+ who can read the Quran fluently with basic Tajweed. Children and adults alike can undertake Hifz — the key requirement is consistency and a minimum daily commitment. Younger children (5–6) may start with short Surahs before committing to full Hifz.

How It Works

  1. Book your free trial — three classes at no cost to assess your reading level and memorisation capacity
  2. Get matched with a Hafiz/Hafiza — we select a teacher who specialises in Hifz instruction based on your age and goals
  3. Daily classes — new memorisation in each session, followed by revision of previous portions
  4. Continuous assessment — your teacher tracks your retention weekly and adjusts the pace to ensure quality over quantity

What to Expect

Hifz is a long-term commitment. Depending on your starting level, daily class frequency, and revision discipline, full memorisation typically takes 2–5 years. Students who already read fluently with Tajweed progress faster. Your teacher will set a realistic timeline after the trial classes.

Prerequisites

You should be able to read the Quran fluently. If you cannot yet read Arabic, start with our Noorani Qaida course. If you can read but haven't learned Tajweed, begin with Quran Reading with Tajweed before starting Hifz.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many classes per week do I need? For serious Hifz, we recommend at least 5 classes per week. Fewer classes are possible but will significantly extend the timeline.

Can my child do Hifz alongside school? Yes. Many of our students attend school and do Hifz in the morning or evening. We schedule around your availability.

Do you have female teachers for Hifz? Yes. We have certified Hafizas for female students and children whose families prefer a female teacher.
