What You Will Learn

• Aqeedah — the six pillars of Iman (belief in Allah, angels, books, messengers, the Last Day, and divine decree)
• Fiqh — the five pillars of Islam: Shahadah, Salah, Zakah, Sawm, and Hajj
• Seerah — the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), from birth to his final sermon
• Akhlaq — Islamic manners and character in daily life — honesty, kindness, respect, cleanliness
• Duas — essential daily supplications for waking, eating, travelling, sleeping and more

Who Is This Course For?

Children aged 5–15 and new Muslims of any age who want a structured grounding in Islam. The curriculum is adapted to the student's age and prior knowledge — younger children learn through stories and activities; older students and adults engage with the material more directly.

What to Expect

The full curriculum typically takes 12–18 months with 2–3 classes per week. Younger children progress at a gentler pace with more repetition. By the end, students have a solid foundation in the essentials of Islam and can practice their faith with confidence.

Pair with Quran Classes

Islamic Studies works best alongside Quran reading classes. Many families combine this course with Noorani Qaida or Quran Reading with Tajweed — one session for recitation, one for Islamic Studies.

Is this only for children? No. We teach new Muslims and adults who want to strengthen their foundational knowledge. The curriculum is adapted for each student.
