Salah is the second pillar of Islam and the first thing Allah will ask about on the Day of Judgement. Yet many Muslims — whether born into the faith or new to it — never learned to pray properly. This course takes you from zero to a complete, correct, and focused Salah, step by step.

What You Will Learn

• Wudu (ablution) — the steps of purification, what breaks it, and how to perform it correctly
• Ghusl — the full-body purification and when it is required
• The prayer itself — every movement and recitation, from Takbirat al-Ihram to the final Salam
• Surah Al-Fatihah and short Surahs recited in prayer — correct pronunciation and meaning
• Duas within Salah — the supplications said in ruku, sujud, between prostrations, and after Tashahhud
• Duas after Salah — what to recite after Fard prayer (tasbih, Ayat al-Kursi, Mu'awwidhat)
• Daily Duas — supplications for waking, eating, entering and leaving the home, before sleep, and more
• Friday prayer (Jumu'ah) — what is different, the khutbah, and the Sunnah prayers
• Eid and funeral (Janazah) prayer — how to perform them when the occasion arises

How It Works

3. Learn by doing — your teacher demonstrates each step, then watches you perform it and corrects mistakes in real time
4. Practise between classes — short homework assignments so you build muscle memory between sessions

What to Expect

Most students can perform a complete, correct Salah within 4–8 classes. Learning the daily Duas and Duas within Salah takes an additional 4–6 classes. The full course — including Friday, Eid, and Janazah prayer — typically takes 3–4 months with 2–3 classes per week.

Do I Need to Read Arabic First?

You do not need to read Arabic fluently to start. Your teacher will teach you the recitations verbally — you learn by listening and repeating. However, if you want to read the Surahs yourself, our Noorani Qaida course is the right starting point. Many students take both in parallel.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a new Muslim and don't know any Arabic. Can I still learn to pray? Absolutely. The recitations in Salah are short and memorised by repetition. Your teacher will say each line and you repeat until you have it. No Arabic reading skills required.

Can my child take this course? Yes. We teach children from age 5 and up. Sessions are shorter (30 minutes) and more interactive for younger children.

I already pray but I think I'm making mistakes. Can this course help? Yes. Tell your teacher what you already know and they will observe your Salah, identify any errors, and help you correct them without making you start from scratch.
